AFRICA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY AWARDED WITH A CHARTER


Africa International University, a member of KENET was issued with a charter on 4 March 2011. In 1998 the process of accreditation as a university began through commission of higher education. A final inspection was conducted in June last year at which commission for higher education science and technology was satisfied that the school has met the academic, legal and infrastructure requirement for accreditation.

Consequently the commission approved the issuance of the charter .The university which is located in Karen has six faculty which are Christian education, historical studies, mission studies, pastoral studies, theological study and translation study.

The university whose mission is to educate Christ centred leaders for the transformation of God's people and world through innovative programs,research and community engagement have been committed in ensuring that they provide a myriad of theological courses that are tailored towards the mission. The university also offers a business administration degree course.
