KENET to Participate in the 26th NORDUnet conference in Reykjavik, Iceland, June 7-9 2011 through Video Conferencing

KENET will participate in the 26th NORDUnet conference in Reykjavik, Iceland, June 7-9 2011 through the new video conferencing facility that it has acquired.The NORDUnet conference will bring together networkers, users, and developers from the Nordic, European, and global research and education community. A special emphasis this year is on the campus CIO, with sessions on challenges, privacy, outsourcing, and the student of tomorrow.

NORDUnet (www.nordu.net) is the Nordic Infrastructure for Research & Education. It is a joint collaboration by the 5 Nordic National Research and Education Networks in Denmark (Forskningsnettet), Finland (Funet), Iceland (RHnet), Norway (Uninett) and Sweden (SUNET) and operates a world-class Nordic and International network and eInfrastructure service for the Nordic research and educational community.

NORDUnet monitor international network research activities and development projects and coordinates Nordic involvement in these projects. NORDUnet act as the Nordic representative towards GÉANT and DANTE bodies.
