KENET Will Host An ICT Directors Forum

Kenya Education Network Trust  will host an ICT directors forum on Wednesday the 10th December 2008 at the United States International University. Each institution will be represented by the ICT director and a senior ICT technical staff in charge of their campus networks.

The agenda of the meeting  will be to:-

1.Introduce KENET as a membership organization and as the National Research and Education Network to member institutions.

2.Brief members on the bandwidth expansion project including financial commitments, participation & benefits to institutions, LOT2 of KTCIP, LOT 1, Migration and SLAs.

3.KENET bandwidth pricing model

4.Brief members on the undersea optical fibre bandwidth requirements

5.Understanding the e-readiness network access and networked learning indicators
