Instructional Technology and Design Workshop

KENET held an Instructional technology and design workshop on the 11th and 12th August 2009 at the Safari park hotel Nairobi. This well attended workshop (slightly over hundred participants ) was attended by lecturers, vice chancellors, and other administrative staff of the member institutions.


The workshop was opened by professor Crispin Kiamba - The Parmanent Secreatary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Closed by Dr. Bitange Ndemo  who also launched the East Africa Universities e-readiness survey 2008 report.

The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Karen Shader from USA and Dr. Neil Butcher from South Africa among other panelists. KENET  hopes this will translate into e-learning and distance education materials development projects in the respective KENET member institutions.
