Generic Accession Roadmaps for Kenyan Universities Workshop for VCs on5-6 November, 2009, Mombasa

KENET hosted a Successful workshop in Mombasa on Generic Accession Roadmaps for Kenyan Universities and Institutions of higher learning which is part of the East Africa Accession project funded by the Rockefeller foundation.

The Workshop was well attended by Vice chancellors, Deputy Vice Chancellors of Kenyan Universities, who are important drivers of accession to higher levels of readiness. In attendance were 29 Vice Chancellors, Deputy Vice Chancellors and Principals of Kenyan Universities and 23 ICT Directors.

The workshop gave opportunity for the universities to define and review their visions for ICT in University education and to improve on their ICT readiness.)
