Are There Membership Fees?

PDF | Print | E-mail
Yes! Depending on your institutions category,
every member institution is required to pay a certain amount of a one time membership fee and an annual subscription fee.

Membership Fees
To be a KENET Member institution, an institution is required to pay some amount of money depending on the size of your institution:

Post Tertiary Institutions:

These include universities, large research and tertiary institutions:

  1. Kshs. 100,000 as the One Time Membership Fees
  2. Kshs. 20,000 as the Annual Subscription Fees

    Tertiary Institutions

The good news is that KENET has now reviewed the application fees for smaller institutions and the following are the new membership fees for medium research and tertiary institutions:

  1. Kshs. 20,000 as One Time Membership fees
  2. Kshs. 20,000 as the Annual Subscription fees

    Pre-Tertiary Institutions

There will be even lower fees for pre-tertiary institutions like secondary and primary schools:

  1. Kshs. 5,000 as One Time Membership fees
  2. Kshs. 5,000 as the Annual Subscription fees
