Kenya Education Network (KENET) is a National Research and Education Network that promotes the use of ICT in Teaching, Learning and Research in Higher Education Institutions in Kenya.

KENET aims to interconnect all the Universities, Tertiary and Research Institutions in Kenya by setting up a cost effective and sustainable private network with high speed access to the global Internet.

KENET also facilitates electronic communication among students and faculties in member institutions, share learning and teaching resources by collaboration in Research and Development of Educational content.

The Position:

The student Assistants will assist Kenyatta University lecturers in developing interactive multimedia content. They will be based at KENET for the duration of the development of the interactive multimedia content.

Qualifications and Skills

Interested candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Be an undergraduate in fourth year or a fresh graduate in BSC Computer Science/IT/Educational Technology/Journalism or any other related field.
  • Must be good with basic computer skills and be ready to learn more.
  • Hard working and Self-driven - can work with minimum supervision
  • Those with video and audio editing skills are encouraged to apply.
