KENET hosted the Annual Forum of Heads of Member Institutions at Mombasa Serena Hotel on December 10-11, 2013.

This year, the highlights of the forum were:

1. Official launch of the KENET broadband network
2. Launch of the Institutional ICT Investments Survey 2013 and E-readiness Survey 2013  reports and associated policy brief
3. Innovations in Education and other Campus ICT Infrastructure  awards ceremonies

   The main purpose of the meeting was to strengthen the Kenyan higher education community and to reflect on the key strategic issues facing the Kenyan higher education system. In this interactive forum, different heads of institutions presented their views on the changing higher education environment in Kenya.
