The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted learning with many learning institutions across the Country remaining closed since March 15, 2020. The E-Learning Discounted Bundle is an ideal solution for students and staff of educational institutions where the learning institution offers e-learning and online learning through educational resources available over the Internet.

The decision was necessitated by the fact that most students and faculty faced challenges in purchasing bundles at their normal prices due to the high associated costs which would deem online learning unsustainable. Through the partnership, KENET member institutions’ students and faculty will receive monthly 10GB data bundles from Safaricom at a discounted cost of Ksh. 500 and 30GB data bundles from Telkom at a discounted cost of Ksh. 999.
