KEFRI extended an invitation to KENET Executive Director to be a guest presenter at a meeting on the eve of their 5th Scientific Conference. The meeting was held on the 16th of April 2018 at the KEFRI headquarters in Muguga.
KENET ED had a one hour slot during which he made a presentation with the title “Does Research ICT matter @ KEFRI?”. Highlights of his presentation included a report on the research productivity and collaboration of Kenyan research institutions with focus on KEFRI, Open Science and KENET’s Research ICT services. The ED also took time to give a background of KENET as well as the mission and values. The presentation was well received and this was evidenced by the follow up discussions the KENET team had with various researchers.
