The face-to-face training brought together 34 faculty members and ICT personnel from the institution. The training comes at a strategic time for WRTI as the institution seeks to expand its digital learning initiatives, including the development of courses that will be offered fully online, while also embracing blended learning. Building the capacity of faculty and ICT personnel is an important step towards supporting this transition and creating a sustainable digital learning environment.
The KENET training team was led by Zeinab Mzungu, Senior Instructional Designer, and Kelvin Kinyanjui, Systems Administrator. The team worked closely with participants throughout the training, combining demonstrations with practical exercises to ensure that the knowledge and skills gained could be applied within the institution.
