KENET has developed the full year ( 2026/27) calendar of training programs to equip the KENET Community with skills needed to thrive in today's digital academic and working environments. Our training sessions are offered for free or at a subsidized cost and are delivered in-person at the KENET training room (University of Nairobi) or virtually for some, depending on what works best for you.

ODeL, Faculty & eLearning Teams 

 

Designed for Open, Distance and eLearning (ODeL) teams, faculty members, and eLearning support staff, these sessions help strengthen the quality, accessibility, and integrity of online and blended learning. Participants gain practical, hands-on skills grounded in current best practices in educational technology, from designing engaging Moodle courses to leveraging AI for multimedia content creation and ensuring courses meet accessibility standards. Whether you are a course or instructional designer, Moodle system administrator, faculty member, or digital learning support professional, these sessions will equip you with the tools and strategies to deliver engaging, inclusive, and effective learning experience

The KENET GPU-Powered HPC Cluster Training is designed to equip faculty members, researchers, and graduate students with the practical skills needed to effectively use high-performance computing resources for research, teaching, and innovation.
