KENET has organized Network Management and Monitoring/BMO residential hands-on training in the week of July 27-31, 2015. This is part of KENET's mandate to provide capacity building to member institutions. This is an advanced course for experienced network engineers/network administrators and system administrators.
The course is designed to provide necessary skills of managing and monitoring bandwidth usage on the campus network. The course will provide skills of bandwidth management principles within a campus environment and development and implementation of bandwidth policies.
The training will provide participants with skills to troubleshoot common campus network problems and how to install and manage network monitoring tools. The course will be fully residential and will be sponsored by Google in partnership with KENET.
