The Board of Trustees, which convened on 25th May, 2015 unanimously elected Dr. Timothy Wachira as its Chairman
Dr. Wachira is the Vice - chancellor of Daystar University. He has a doctoral degree in Public Health from the University of Nairobi. He also served as the Vice – Chancellor, St. Paul’s University from 2004 to 2010. He has served as a General Secretary Fellowship of Christian Unions (FOCUS), Senior Medical Research Scientist AMREF, Lecturer, the University Nairobi and a senior Research Scientist at Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (KARI). He serves as a Board Member in several boards in Kenya that include the Higher Education Loans Board, Biblica Kenya, Wycliffe Africa, Bible Society of Kenya and FOCUS.
Dr. Wachira takes over the chairmanship from Prof. George Magoha, former Vice - Chancellor of the University of Nairobi. Previous to his election, he was the Board of Trustees Treasurer.
