On August 1, 2015 KENET launched new web and video conference services. The services are expected to support collaboration among faculty and researchers, facilitate meetings by the KENET community staff, promote online capacity building workshops and teaching online courses.

In the next one month, KENET technical staff will facilitate weekly online training sessions for interested users such as; ICT staff, librarians, faculty, and researchers. The sessions will be held on Fridays between 11.00 AM and noon. Staff or faculty members who are close to the KENET training room can always attend the face-to-face training sessions which will also be streamed live.

The services will require that users who convene meetings are registered with KENET using their institutional e-mail addresses, (for example, natasha@kca.ac.ke and not Yahoo or Gmail e-mail addresses).
