Online Moodle for Instructors Course
Getting started with a course in Moodle from scratch.
	Course Outline
	Moodle is an open-source Learning management System (LMS) that is widely used by learning institutions.
	This course is for faculty who use Moodle as a teaching platform and will equip them with the basics of teaching with Moodle.
	You will need to have a Moodle course with an editing-teacher account. If your Institution is unable to give you a Moodle course with a teacher account, then kindly write to support@kenet.or.ke to request an account.
	The course will teach the following:
1. Introduction:
	    i. What is Moodle
	    ii. Introduction to Moodle layout
	    iii. How to Navigate around Moodle
	    iv. Understanding the default course view/layout
	2. Posting the course syllabus in Moodle
	3. Posting lectures for the students in a course in Moodle
	    i. Direct Upload of Lecture notes
	    ii. Use of Authoring tools in Moodle
	    iii. Use of content authoring software
	4. Posting Media Content in Moodle
	5. Hiding and Showing Resources in the course in Moodle
	6. Configuring the course gradebook in Moodle
	7. Creating Forums, chats and messaging in Moodle
	8. Adding Activities in Moodle
	    i. Assignments
	    ii. Quizzes
	    iii. Lesson
	    iv. Feedback, choice and Survey
	9. Managing a class in Moodle
	    i. Enrolling Users
	    ii. Assigning roles
	    iii. Removing students
	    iv. Backup: Restoring and copying Courses
