Ground Breaking of the KENET Mast at DeKUT

KENET is building a 60m tower at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology (DeKUT) which will be used to provide internet services to KENET institutions around Nyeri. The ground breaking ceremony for the construction of the tower was carried out on 16th March 2015 at DeKUT and Karatina University. The ground breaking ceremony of the KENET tower was officiated by ICT Cabinet Secretary (CS) Dr Fred Matiang’i at the Vice Chancellor’s court

Joan Masai attends APRICOT- APAN meeting in Japan

Ms. Joan Masai, Assistant Network Administrator at KENET was awarded the Abha Ahuja bursary that has allowed her to attend the APRICOT/APNIC 2015 meeting in Fukuoka, Japan from 24th February to 6th March 2015. The Abha Ahuja Fellowship Award was established in memory of Abha Ahuja, who was involved and committed to many activities in the Internet community (https://nsrc.org/abha_ahuja_bursary/).
