Special Interest Groups

We are pleased to inform you that we have formed two special interest working groups in Educational Technology and Engineering Education and Research. This is line with KENET’s mandate of promoting collaboration in education and research and being a catalyst in the transformation of education and research.

IBM CSC 5th Anniversary Video Highlights the KENET Success Story

The IBM Corporate Service Corps was launched in 2008 to help provide IBMers with high quality leadership development while delivering high quality problem solving for communities and organizations in emerging markets. They spent 3 months in Kenya and working with KENET in 2011.

UbuntuNet-Connect Workshop 2013

This years UbuntuNet-connect workshop was held at Lemigo Hotel in Kigali, Rwanda on 14-15 November 2013. The 6th in the series, the conference was hosted by one of the founding NRENs of the UbuntuNet Alliance, RwEdNet, the Rwandan NREN, with great support from the Ministry of Education.
