AfNOG is a forum for the exchange of technical information and knowledge between African Operators. The workshops are aimed at offering advanced training to operators of existing African Internet Service providers in order to develop and enhance the national Internet with regional and international connectivity.
The 20th Internet2 (I2) Global Summit was held at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile Hotel, Illinois, USA from May 15 to 18, 2016. There were more than 800 people in attendance, with representatives from over 40 countries globally. KENET was represented by Prof. Abraham Idowu (Management Board Member), Mr. Luke Matere (Shared Services Manager) and Mr. Hillary Cheserek (Senior Network Engineer).
