The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) is one of the most important public institutions in Kenya. One of the apparent reasons is because the wildlife-oriented tourism sector is among the top contributors to the Country’s GDP. Cognizant of this, the Kenya Wildlife Training Institute (KWSTI) provides special training in Natural Resource Management and Tourism Development.
KENET provides training services to its member institution to enable them to improve on their campus network and efficiently utilize the services offered by KENET. We have developed a training model that is effective in building skills for member institution’s systems and network administrators, and for building the capacity of KENET’s technical Staff and ICT Managers.
Our hands-on residential training focuses on the following areas; Network Management and Monitoring, Campus LAN & WLAN Design, Scalable Campus Wireless LAN design and Cyber Security.
This training is designed to empower systems administrators with skills to administer Unix/Linux.
