Member Institution List and Regional Mapping for ICANN Grant Funded Training

Member institutions have been mapped to one of five regions - Central/Eastern, Coast, Nairobi, Nyanza, and Western Kenya - based on the location of their main campuses, as shown in the table below. The regional workshops have been organized into two tracks, running concurrently in each region: Track 1: DNS, Email, and Identity & Trust Services & Track 2: IPv4/IPv6 Addressing and Network Security

In a session, the default view is designed to provide a comprehensive and intuitive layout, incorporating both webcam feeds and the whiteboard/presentation area.

As a moderator, you can manage layout of the participants by selecting “manage layout” in the action menu located at the bottom left of the presentation screen.

UPDATED FEATURES IN KENET WEB CONFERENCE PLATFORM V2.6

The KENET web conference platform runs on BigBlueButton open-source software and supports real-time sharing of audio, video, slides (with whiteboard controls), chat, and the screen. The platform is interactive as it allows instructors to engage remotely with students using polls, emojis, multi-user whiteboard, and breakout rooms. The platform can also be used for group collaboration and remote teaching. KENET is currently offering this service to its members at no additional cost.
